Project Gecko Racing for XBOX?

a fake screenshot of imaginary game Project Gecko Racing reported at IGNNNewtbie, OH—News affecting millions of gamers and some of the biggest corporate names in America rarely emanates from the small town of Newtbie, but thanks to sharp-eyed Hank Verpassilon, the video game news world has finally taken notice. Hank blogs about video games from his home in Newtbie, where he is an unemployed unemployment counselor for the state of Ohio.

“I spend my days Googling video game stuff,” Hank told IGNN in an exclusive interview. “And that’s how I discovered the photo that’s caused all the ruckus. Funny thing though is that I was really just trying to find cheaper insurance for my car. I Googled gecko + save and I got the screenshot.”

The screenshot appears to be a famous mascot on the hood of a pimped-out Bentley sport sedan. By analyzing the reflective details and light filtering on the car, Hank was able to surmise that the image was likely from a video game, and further clues suggested that it was created by Bizarre Creations, the team responsible for the Project Gotham Racing series.

When contacted about the possibility of the leaked photo pointing to a collaboration between Microsoft and Geico in a new, secret, Project Gecko Racing game, a Microsoft spokesperson politely laughed and said that she had no knowledge of any such product.

But the big news broke when IGNN contacted Geico and learned that the organization could save a bundle on their car insurance. We’ll have more on this story as it develops.
